JAMES MILTON WALDEN, pvt Co G 3rd Regiment Alabama Calvary, Capt Forney's Company; Bush's Ranger's Alabama Vols.; muster-in, Camp Floyd Bush on Sep 24, 1862; duty & enrolled August 27, 1862 at Jacksonville, AL, DP Forney, Inspector General; period 3 years of war. Paid for horse $3.00, a white mule. Discharged April 30, 1863 by order of Lt. General Braxton Bragg, signed by C.E.McLaughlin. Continuation Apr 30 to June 30, 1863. (severely wounded in battle and sent home
to die)
