For Gen Joe E. Wheeler

Orlando enlisted in 1861 in Montgomery. He was detached as bugler for General Wheeler’s escort December 13, 1862. In 1864 he was still attached to the escort with this duty. After the war he was a respected doctor in Tallapoosa County.

Berryhill enlisted in Vicksburg in 1862. His name appears on muster rolls in 1862, 1863, and 1864. His last record is for the March and April muster. The 22^nd Mississippi was engaged on July 20, 1864 at Battle of Peachtree Creek and suffered 21 killed.
