According to the sourced Profile of Pvt. John Montgomery Rogers, CSA:   Rogers enlisted January 15, 1862. He was captured at Franklin in 1864 and died of chronic diarrhea April 27, 1865 at Camp Chase, Ohio. He is buried at Camp Chase Confederate Cemetery in Grave #1924.
