Young W. Longshore mustered into service in Buchanan in Harrison County, Georgia on August 12, 1861. On December 21, 1861 he died in Fredricksburg, Virginia. Cause of his death could not be determined. This marker may be a cenotaph. In 2014 a research erect a Find a Grave memorial to Longshore the Barton Street Cemetery in Fredericksburg. However, his name is not on the plaque dedicated to 51 Confederate buried October of 1861 and March of 1862. Four men of the 35th Georgia are named on the plaque.

The grave of Henry Baldwin was marked with a Southern Cross of Honor in 2017.  He was a member of Company C of the 41st Georgia Infantry. 

He was discharged from service in 1864 for health reasons.

B.F. Cleveland has two military markers in Lime Branch Cemetery. He is birtied close to his grandson Ned J. Cleveland who died in battle during the Korean Conflict.

In the 1907 enumeration of Clay County veterans Andrew Jackson Reid of Childersburg reported that he enlisted in 1862 in  Company C of the 6th Georgia Calvary regiment. This regiment was a part of Wheeler’s Calvary.

Private Lambert enlisted at Camp McDonald on March 10, 1862. He was captured at Vicksburg when left at a hospital. There are no Lamberts on the role of Company B of the 55th Alabama. However the next three Lamberts in Company B of the 55th Alabama do appear on the rolls of Company B 5th Alabama Battalion.  Seth Lambert does not show up on any 5th Alabama Battalion roll. This company was raised in Calhoun County, Alabama.

They will be recorded with the inscription on the stones in Hebron Cemetery.

Private Lambert enlisted in Captain Bush’s Calhoun County (Alabama) Sharpshooters on August 19, 1861.  This would become Company B of the 5th Alabama Infantry Battalion.
He appears as missing in action muster rolls after Gettysburg. Union records indicate that he was captured at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863. He is detained at Fort McHenry, Maryland and eventually sent to Fort Delaware.  He died of chronic diarrhea only October 6, 1863. He enlisted in Captain Bush’s Calhoun Sharpshooters at age 25 in 1862.  In June he was reported sick in a Richmond, Virginia hospital. Military records indicate that Chandler was wounded the leg in Virginia and spent some time in Howard’s Grove General Hospital in Richmond. He was transferred the General Hospital in Athens, Georgia in June and died at the Kingston Hospital.
